Yellow Knitted Sweater - Christmas Knitting
I found this sweater 3/4 of the way done at a thrift store with a part of it still on the needles. I worked through the challenge of figuring out the amount of stitches and figuring out the cable. The most difficult part of this project was determining the correct gauge. I suspect the knitter before me, had placed the project on another pair of needles that they were okay with donating.
It did take awhile to knit it since sweaters aren’t my passion and it was a unique way to get another project to work on. But it was worth it since it fit Jewel and is yellow! (Yellow is Jewel’s favorite color!)
The hat we found thrifting and is vintage with a Nebraska “N” on the front. …Jewel is actually wearing it backwards as it has a flat bill in the front. I included a past photo of me wearing it so you can see how cute it is the “correct” way too!
Happy Knitting!
