Pacific Northwest Vibes | Part 3
Here in the Dallas metroplex it’s still hot most days — we had a handful of beautiful cool almost autumn days sprinkled in, but the day I snapped my photos it was a humid 85ºF.
Since there was no way I was wearing a coat (or a jacket!) for even a few minutes of picture-making, I decided my outfit would have Pacific Northwest Summertime Vibes.
This fitted tee from Sam’s Club (summer 2019) may say “Nebraska” but the retro design and hipster feel says Portland to me. (I haven’t actually been to Portland yet, so don’t spoil it if I’m wrong!)
I always put “plaid” and “PNW” in the same brain category so this lightweight skirt (with pockets!) from Torrid from a collection inspired by the TV series “Outlander” was an obvious choice.
I went understated and simple with my makeup —
🔹 gel primer from Milk, Mary Kay CC cream, and some Tarte Shape-Tape concealer under the eyes
🔹 Matte eyeshadows “Gnarly” and “Pop Up” from the Sugar Rush palette by Tarte, and “Berry” blush from the same palette (the palette is shaped like a little surfboard — super cute)
🔹 Tarte Busy Gal Brows in Dark Brown, Tarte Maneater mascara in black, and Bésame Cosmetics lipstick mini in “1970” (a brownish red)
Barely pictured, a pair of thrifted, vintage pearl earrings to complete the look 💋
